Profile

Why My Treasury ARF,
and why now.

Yoshiko Suda

Representative Director, ARF Inc. / Decision Support Consultant

At the end of 2024, I said goodbye to my dog Chuck Louis, who was nearly sixteen. What stayed with me afterward was a single thought: "if only I had noticed sooner."

That is also the reason I decided, in 2026, to restart ARF — a company I first founded in 2013 and had since put on hold.

Looking at my career alone, I may not seem like someone who works with pets. I spent many years in IT and consulting — organizational design, people development, hiring, one-on-ones, and all kinds of workplace consultations. Throughout, my work always came back to the same question: how do you decide, when there's too much information and no single right answer?

At home, meanwhile, my life has always been full of dogs. Living with several small dogs of different ages, personalities, and health conditions, I've learned that almost nothing goes according to the textbook. "Knowing the facts" and "being able to decide what's right for this particular dog" turn out to be quite different things.

That's why, at My Treasury ARF, my goal isn't to decide the answer for you. It's to gather information, organize the situation, and walk alongside your family until you can ask — and answer — "what's right for us?" for yourselves.

The organizing skills I built over years in business, and the listening skills I've developed living alongside people and dogs — two quite different worlds. Looking back now, they turn out to be more connected than I ever expected.

I want to reduce, even a little, the moments you look back and think "if only I had known."
That is why I'm starting My Treasury ARF again in 2026.

We visit your home to provide meals, medication, and playtime in your pet's familiar environment — easing the worry of leaving them home alone.

Dog walking service
WALK
Dog Walking
Flat rate regardless of number of pets that can walk together

We take your dog for walks on busy days or when you're not feeling well, and report on how it went. If pets need separate walks due to compatibility or differences in stamina, please book the total time needed (for example, two dogs who can't walk together at 30 minutes each would need a 60-minute booking).

Overnight pet sitting at My Treasury ARF
STAY
Pet Sitting (at My Treasury ARF)
Overnight care in the same room · Discounts for additional pets

At My Treasury ARF, our certified representative (Certified Small Animal Nurse, Senior Pet Care & Counseling Specialist, and other certifications) personally cares for a limited number of pets. Because we watch over your pet in the same room overnight, there's no anxiety of being left alone in a crate. Drawing on our own experience with multiple pets, we also pay close attention to compatibility with other pets in our care.

Transportation (when using the pet-sitting/stay service)
We provide transportation within approximately a 20-minute drive from our office in Sangenjaya (primarily Setagaya-ku and Shibuya-ku, and parts of Meguro-ku). Please contact us for details on the exact service area. Transportation fee: ¥1,500 one-way / ¥2,500 round-trip. Discounted to ¥1,200 one-way / ¥2,000 round-trip for two or more uses per month, and ¥1,000 one-way / ¥1,700 round-trip for four or more uses per month.
First-time customers (pet record creation)
A pet record ("karute") must be created before your first use. In addition to your pet's medical history, temperament, and primary veterinary clinic, we will also confirm details such as frequency, timing, and whether pets can be walked together. For in-home care and dog walking, this is done at your first visit; for the stay service, it is done separately in person. Record creation fee: ¥1,000 (free for the first three months after launch).
Out-of-pocket expenses
Any parking fees or train fares incurred during in-home visits or dog walking will be billed separately at actual cost.

Detailed pricing and booking conditions for the Pet Sitting Service will be announced when the service officially launches.
